At the start, North Sea Clothing made just 1 jumper: The Submariner. The Original Submariner sweater was War Office issue to the British Royal Navy in both WW1 and WW2 and was used by the North Atlantic convoys to keep out the bitter chill. After a background selling vintage clothing at London’s Portobello Market to many of the high fashion labels for inspiration, Neil Starr set about making the N.S.C. version of the Submariner, when the originals started getting hard to find.
