Ghost And Divining-Rod - T. C. Lethbridge (First Edition; 1963)

A first edition copy of 'Ghost and Divining-Rod' written by the English archaeologist and parapsychologist Thomas Charles Lethbridge and published by Routledge & Kegan Paul, London in 1963. Lethbridge believed ghosts to be projections stored in rock and other material substances which then echoed traumatic past and even future events. Several months following publication this book became the basis for a BBC documentary titled 'Ghost Hunting with T.C. Lethbridge'. Brown cloth covers measuring 14.5cm x 22.5cm with gilt lettering to spine. 139 pp., including index and including 14 line drawings. In good condition. The hard boards are intact with some shelf rubbing but very little edge and corner wear. The binding is firm. The pages are moderately, uniformly tanned with foxing confined to the endpapers and there are no tears, repairs, creases or staining.
